This cute DIY Dollar Tree Spring Wagon Wheel Wreath happened by accident. I was browsing our local dollar tree for a wreath form and stumbled on the wagon wheel and I got completely distracted from the task at hand! Does that ever happen to you?

The next thing I know, I’m making a DIY wagon wheel wreath for Spring. I got almost everything at Dollar Tree but I’ve linked some other wagon wheels in my original post at hootshack.com in case your store is out.

DIY Dollar Tree Spring Wagon Wheel Wreath Supplies

  • Wagon wheel
  • Florist wire
  • White Lilacs (found mine at Dollar Tree and used 3 picks)
  • German Statice (or other purple flower) (Dollar Tree – 1 pick)
  • A wood bead or button (optional for the center0
  • A burlap bow (learn how to make a burlap bow here)

How To Make A Wagon Wheel Wreath

We all love easy DIY projects and this wagon wheel wreath definitely falls into this category. I used three white Lilac picks and 1 German Statice pick.

I glued a large split wooden bead to the center but you can use a button or just leave it the way it is.

Cutting the stems off of the picks makes them easier to work with. Arrange the flowers the way you like them and attach them to the wagon wheel wreath form with floral wire.

The touch of purple from the silk German Statice is a nice pop of color but I didn’t want to overdo it. I just added 2 stems on each side. (not the entire pick, just the stems).

Absolutely adorable!! And can we also pause to appreciate that beautiful keyhole door!!!🤍 I haven’t been to the Dollar Tree in what seems like forever. Now I do believe I need to pick my DIY game back up and go try to find this!! Thank you for your lovely post!

Thank you! And yes, the door was a great find for $40 and it’s a great backdrop for my posts. “Dollar” Tree gets me for about $50 every time I go 😂
