Looking for a unique way to add a touch of fall to your home? You probably have a cloche or glass dome laying around. This DIY gives you a unique way to fill the cloche and add some fall color to your home. All you need is a base for the dome, some dried florals, and a string of battery operated remote control lights to create this pretty DIY fall cloche.
- Don’t throw away the card that the lights come wrapped in. Use this card to re-wrap your lights when you take your decor apart. Store these on the card in a labelled ziplock bag for future use.
- The remote control lights I used have 8 different patterns and also have a timer. You can set the timer to come on in the evening and it will go off 6 hours later. Or, you can manually turn them on any time you want a little fall ambiance in your space. You really need the remote control lights so you don’t have to try to turn them on by flipping the cloche over.
- If you need to purchase a base (a stand or lazy Susan) make sure the diameter of your cloche will sit fully and securely on it. Otherwise, your materials won’t stay within the cloche.
