You will like this natural wall decor made with a piece of wood and some wheat stalks. Its perfect to complete a boho wall decor or to add a modern touch to your fall decoration.

This DIY wall hanging is very simple to make and only require a few supplies. I give you my best tips to dry wheat and how to preserve it.

Ready to make this easy DIY? Let's bring some nature inside.

Step 1

Cut a half circle in a piece of plywood. Sand the piece.

Drill two holes, one on each side of the straight edge.

You can choose to leave the plywood as it or you can stain it.

Step 2

Once your piece of wood is ready. Start gluing the wheat stalks on the back of the piece.

Place them harmoniously and evenly around the half-circle. You can draw lines on the back of your wood piece wood to guide you.

Step 3

Pass a leather cord through the holes. Attach with knots and hang your fall wheat decor where you like.

You can display it on the wall or use it as decor for your front door.

Glue was used, meaning it was meant to be permanent. How well does it store and how many years can you get out of it?
