DIY Pastel Floral Shadowbox Shelf

My dad and I recently made a wooden shadowbox using scrap wood and door molding. I then painted and dress it up with a fun patterned backing made using gift wrap and Mod Podge. I now have the perfect decor item to help me usher in spring!
A handmade shadowbox painted mint and paired with the perfect pastel floral gift wrap is a great addition to my spring decor.
Making a wooden shadowbox is easy. All you need to do is make a wooden box and cut molding to frame the front. A sheet of thin plywood cut to fit the back completes the construction.
Mod Podging gift wrap to the plywood adds the perfect pop of color and pattern to the back of the shadowbox.
Distressing the painted wood frame helps the molding details pop.
