DIY Winter Wreath

This year, I decided to make a few more projects for Winter than I normally do. I enjoyed the sparseness of our home after I took down all of our Christmas decor - for about a day. :) This wreath is so easy that even anyone who is "wreath-making-challenged" can accomplish the basic wreath. Add a bow or greenery as desired.
I started out with a few things I already had on hand.... a metal wreath form and a small bag of quilt batting.
I purchased a few other items at Hobby Lobby, to include a 1/2 yard of some of the fuzziest fabric I had ever seen.
I cut both the batting and the fabric into approx 5" strips. First I wrapped the batting around the form, then followed that up with the fuzzy fabric. (To see how I secured the fabric to the form, follow the link below)
I ended up with this super "fluffy" wreath. That is when I added some Winter additions...
Frosted greenery...
... and frosty pinecone clusters to name a few.
I also added a burlap and polka dot bow. I love how it looks on my red front door.
I think this just sings Winter, don't you? Is this something that you would make for your own home? I would love for you to visit me at my blog, The Everyday Home, and see all of the complete details for making this wreath.
