Easy 20 Minute Wood Snowman

7 Materials
20 Minutes
20 minutes is all you need to make this darling little inexpensive snowman (or snowwoman). Plus he won’t melt! SEE ALL 25 PHOTOS HERE!
Gather your supplies. We ended up not tying a bow so string would work just as well. You need long ribbed socks for the best result. We only needed to use one but you might need both.
Paint the 10" 2"x4" white. (You can actually make him any height.)
Paint the nose piece. You can also paint a nose directly onto the 2"x4".
There were a LOT of photos on how to cut the sock. We could not fit them all here.
Cut down 3" into the top of the hat. (The unfinished end of your sock piece)
You should end up with these pieces. Keep in mind the hat cuts should be 3" deep which is deeper than shown.
Paint on the face and buttons.
Glue on your nose, or paint one on.
Pull the hat top down over the snowman's head. Tie it off with ribbon or string just below where the top cuts end.
Slip a 1" bell on, pull it all the way down and tie.
You can make it into a bow but we liked it better without.
