It is time for cheerful and fun spring decor! Changing out the decor for every season can get expensive real fast! Which is why, every season, I create a wreath by re-using my grapevine wreath and keeping it under $10. Best of all - it literally took about 5 minutes to make it!
I started with my (aff) grapevine wreath, a pink blossom vine, 2 stems of white blossoms and a "welcome" wood cutout. I got all of the flowers and the wood cut out with a coupon for 40% off! You can also get the
Start by wrapping the pink blossom vine around the grapevine wreath. Make sure flowers were more concentrated at the top part of the wreath since the bottom part is going to be covered by the white flowers anyway. Tuck both ends of the blossom vine into the grapevine.
Start by wrapping the pink blossom vine around the grapevine wreath. Tuck both ends of the blossom vine into the grapevine. Bend the white flower stems to mimic the arc of the wreath and tuck it in. Repeat for both the stems. I left the top of the stems disheveled to give it a rustic look.
I painted the wood cut out sign a nice bright yellow. I used a few tiny dabs of hot glue to keep it in place on the wreath. When it is time to switch out the wreath next season, the hot glue comes right off!
That's it! The pretty wreath is ready for the door!! It really is a wuick and easy project but it brings so much freshness to the door! I love the punch of brightness the yellow sign gives to rustic pink and white flowers and the grapevine. Be sure to check out how I re-used this grapevine wreath for all the other seasons all year!
