Easy Heart & Vintage Seed Packet Garland
Y’all know how easily inspired I am! I just found these cute moss covered hearts and had to find a project to use them on. Here is how to make an Easy Heart & Vintage Seed Packet Garland using these moss covered hearts and vintage seed packets. It may be the easiest DIY I’ve ever shared.
Supplies Needed
- Moss Hearts – I used 8 – Available in the Bridal Section of Hobby Lobby
- Vintage Seed Packets – Available ETSY
- Jute Rope
- Hot Glue Gun & Glue

Begin by determining the length of your garland and allow extra for attaching at each end. I used 55″ for the actual garland and allowed approx. 12 extra inches for attachment.
Fold your rope in half and begin by attaching the center seed packet with a bead of hot glue on the back of the packet.
Make Double Hearts
To add some variety of the garland, attach two sets of hearts together. Just add a drop of hot glue to the V of one heart and attach the bottom point of a second heart. Then hold in place until the glue is dry.
Attach the double hearts on either side of the center seed packet. Allow approx. 5″ between the packet and the hearts.
Alternate hearts and Vintage Seed Packets
Continue to either end of the garland by alternating between the seed packets and moss hearts. Allow approx. a 5″ space between each item.
Once the glue is dry, you are ready to hang your garland.

I had originally planned to hang this in my greenhouse, however after testing it over “Faith”, I decided to leave it here for a Valentines Décor.
