Embroidery Hoop Pumpkins

You've seen a project or two with embroidery hoops, right?

So when the theme for the Fall Blogger Challenge was announces as embroidery hoops, I knew I had to think outside the "hoop" to come up with something new and unique.
There's plenty of flat embroidery hoop projects, so I decided to craft a 3-dimensional project instead.

Since our challenge was a fall project, and since pumpkins and fall go hand-in-hand, I started thinking of ways to combine the two.

Wouldn't a few embroidery hoops make cute little "ribs" on a pumpkin?

For each pumpkin, I used 3 - 4 inch hoops (only the inner hoops), and gave them two coats of paint.
While they were drying, I used a 12-inch dinner plate to trace a circle onto a piece of fabric,
then cut it out.
Next, I used a needle and thread to put a running stitch in the top of the circle, about 1/4" from the edge. Then I pulled the ends to create a pouch and stuffed it full of fiberfil. You really want to stuff it very full.
Once it's full, pull the ends tight and either tie them or sew the opening closed. I used both methods and both work well.
Now it's time to add the hoops to create the ribbing.

Once all three hoops are around the fabric, work with each section to make it even and fluffy.
To create a stem, I used a piece of mesh ribbon. I tied it around the hoops and added a few drops of hot glue to make it lay across the top of them.
Finally, I tied a coordinating ribbon around the "stem", and it was done!
You can use any color, texture, or print of fabric you like and paint the hoops and choose ribbons to match.
That's it! - One more embroidery hoop project to add the the worldwide collection! icon

My last pay check was $9500 working 12 hours a week online. My sisters friend has been averaging 15k for months now and she works about 20 hours a week. I can't believe how easy it was once I tried it out. Read more this web.. Good luck... http://ow.ly/DPlP30fDKPh
