Neutral & Natural Fall Decorating

It's finally feeling like fall here, weather-wise and in our home thanks to a wonderful pumpkin harvest that inspired a neutral and natural fall decor scheme!
I grew three heirloom Jarrahdale pumpkins/squash that are a perfect gray-green color that compliments all the hydrangeas at this time of the year and used them on our mantel, front porch and dining room. Home-grown white Lumina and mini Baby Boo pumpkins add to the neutral scene along with school-like elements of old clipboards, chalkboards, and globes. Come along for a quick tour:
A few homegrown pumpkins, mums, galvanized steel, and a wreath welcome visitors to our fall front porch.
A clearance chalkboard map from Target, old wood clipboard, books and a globe on the mantel is my nod to school starting in the fall, though it was completely unplanned - it only occurred to me after putting it together!
The old barn wood trough/box my husband made has to be my favorite update, though! It's perfect for drying our PeeGee hydrangeas now and I can picture it with candles later in the winter.

I added a few more simple updates to complete our fall decor - nothing too complicated, but enough to feel cozy! Follow the link to my blog to see more and get the links to the printables I used with the clipboards!
