Fall Decor With a Vintage Vibe

It's already time to get the fall decorations out! In our 1960's ranch style home, we like to mix the old in with the new. Combining textures, colors, and shapes always makes things more interesting. Kinda like having different things in your wardrobe. And as long as it looks good to your eye, that's what matters! Here are some examples.
The soft throw blankets balance the hardness of the brick and the metal bucket.
The decorative pine cones add color and texture here, as well as something round against lots of straight lines.
The shiny blue glass bottle gives some color and sparkle to this soft, neutral backdrop.
Old books add height and texture to a mantel display with dried grasses, candles, and fall foliage.
The vintage linens and shiny silver add texture and shine to a wooden hutch filled with dishes. To see more photos, ideas, and tips, go to the full blog post

I love every one of the vignettes you have created! I often think of colours and shapes but never textures when decorating. Of course, this element adds a wonderful decorative touch too! My favourite one is the first one with how you combined the colourful blanket with the pumpkins with the berry spray. Love it! I am inspired.

@Time With Thea Thanks so much! I'm glad you like it. I think the blanket and pumpkins are my favorite of these as well.
