Fall Inspired Tablescape

Today I'm collaborating with some of my favorite bloggers for a Fall at Home Blog Hop featuring tabletops and mantels. It's been so much fun to see all of the creative fall decor around blogland these past few weeks.
Several months ago I found this vintage plaid blanket at a local thrift store. I love blankets like these because they're sturdy enough to use for a picnic yet warm enough to snuggle up on a cold day. Since it's still in the upper 90's here, I decided to use the blanket as a base for my fall inspired dining room.
This pattern is by Staffordshire and it's called "Royal Mail." I'm always on the hunt for these pieces. They're hard to find at affordable prices sometimes. Thankfully, my family helps me look whenever they're out too.
I've decided to use apples throughout the house in my fall decor this year. Honeycrisp apples are my absolute favorite apples and since they have such a short season, I couldn't imagine a better reason to buy so many at once.
Once the table was in place I started working on the china hutch. Most of the items up there I've picked up at thrift stores, charity shops or estate sales. I love hunting for new treasures.
I can't wait to see these mums in bloom. I need to pick up a few more to put around the front door. Check out other inspirational table tops and mantels at our
