Fall Mantle Magic With Tree Clippings, Rubber Bands and Twinkle Lights

5 Materials
30 Minutes

Take a walk in the yard to snip some wispy branches to create a lovely, natural Fall Mantle Display. You can make Fall Mantle Magic in Minutes! Snips of branches, large rubber bands and battery twinkle lights. Done!

Snip thin wispy branches from your trees.

Light-weight branches with colorful leaves work best, but use what you find to bring the outdoors in. Mix in thin, leafless branches for some structural interest.

Wrap a large rubber band over tiny nails on the mantle.

The rubber band should be pulled taut. The branches will be held in place with the rubber band. I used 2 bands to cover either side of the mantle. The tiny nails are leftover from hanging Christmas stockings. No hammering or extra holes needed. On Amazon... Here.

Battery twinkle lights - one strand will work.

String the twinkle lights over the rubber band before you insert the leaves and branches. The lights give a soft twinkle to light up the leaves and the mantle. On Amazon... Here.

Set the leaves and branches into the rubber bands.

The branches and leaves will cover the rubber bands. The rubber bands will hold the display firmly in place.

Set the twinkle light timer and enjoy your Fall display!
