Fall Pumpkin Tile
Oh guys—ya’ll gonna be lovin’ this cute little project that costs next to nothing! It’s the perfect touch for your Fall decor! A fall pumpkin tile DIY.. that uses an old ceiling tile and patterned scrapbook paper.
A great way to use an antique ceiling tile but you could also use a blank canvas and follow the same steps.
I took 8 different patterned scrapbook paper scraps then using decoupage paste, I applied them into the shape of a large pumpkin. I also added a large stem and some leaves here and there.
*Using a pair of decorative border scissors (ones that make a cute cut on the edges), trim all the outer edges for the pumpkin and leaves, as shown! I used the patterned scissors just to add dimension to the cuts.
This is the tile BEFORE! A large, old 24x24" tile. Started by cleaning and spraying it with clear sealant before beginning. Once dry, I applied the scrapbook paper you've cut and layer away.
Once dry, you can even add details to the leaves (optional).
On my blog is the pattern for the lettering I cut on my cricut. Apply the vinyl lettering and you're done.
Fun and inexpensive decoration for your Fall home!
