Paper Mache Winter Village

A friend of mine got some of these little houses and they’re so cute with twinkle lights inside them that I just had to make some too!

Let me show you how I made mine...

This is what they look like when you buy them at Hobby Lobby. There are 3 houses of varying sizes, nested inside each other.

First I painted mine white - chalk paint is a great option and you can brush it on or spray it on. I sprayed mine.

I covered the roof of each house with a thick coat of Elmers glue and then glitter. I waited until the glue was dry before tapping off the excess glitter.

Next I decorated them. Although they looked cute just with the glitter roof, I decided to add some more charm with the addition of some tiny wreaths and a white picket fence on the largest one. I attached them with hot glue.

I styled them with some fairy lights to make them glow but they could be styled almost anywhere and in so many different ways!
