Jean Scraps Garland “Jersey Girl Knows Best”

Do you have jeans scraps in your fabric drawer?! Or did your favorite pair of jeans just rip?! I have a simple craft to turn those jean pant legs into garland for your home! Ready?! Let’s do this!

Here are the materials: jeans and scissors ✂️

I cut 1/2 inch strips of the jean legs. Since this was a short garland, I only cut about six loops. Obviously, you can cut more for longer garland😊

Here I loop one jean strip into the other.

I then pull it through itself and tighten it.

It will end up looking like this. Repeat the process, until all Jean strips are gone!

Here I draped the garland on my countertop two-tier marble stand. I love the contrast of color and texture 😁. Even if you added in some fresh fruit you could easily wash this garland and it would fray and fringe more in the wash. Frayed jeans are so in now 😆.

You can also attach it with clear tape to your entryway table or on your fireplace mantle. The possibilities are endless! Have fun with it! Stop back for more creative and interesting home and garden crafts. Follow me on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube!
