Happy Thanksgiving friends! I hope you had a wonderful day surrounded by people you love!

This was the best (of 8 attempts) picture I could get of all of us!

Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? Check out my favorite finds 🙂

If you follow me on social media then you saw these on my pages last year. They are inexpensive and easy to make and a great way to fill empty spots through your house.

I used them all over the house last year.

For these I used brown paper bags, but this year I went with white lunch bags that I found for less than $2.

Items Needed:

  • Lunch Bags
  • Glue Gun
  • Twine
  • Optional: Spray glue, glitter, paint

You can use 7 bags per snowflake or 9, depending on the size you want. I used 7 for these. And I wanted some smaller snowflakes so I cut the top part of my bags off.

-First, stack 7 lung bags.

-Then, glue each bag together top to bottom. Apply the glue in a T pattern with the top of the T across the bottom of the bag.

-Now to cut the snowflake pattern into your bags. You can do this several different ways.

-After this it’s time to open up your snowflakes. The easiest way is to apply the glue to your top bag and then place your hands in the top bag and in the bottom bag and twist the bags into a circle.

If you want to glam your snowflakes up a bit you can use the spray glue and glitter.

If you want to hang the snowflakes poke a hole through the top and add twine. Hang them from the ceiling, on the tree, or from a peg rail. Or just sit your snowflake on a shelf.

Danya, may I ask, which manufacturer, made your dining table/chairs, if you don’t mind?

I would, be ever so grateful to know. I am, totally redoing my dining room, just after Christmas. Your style would look amazing in my home, as well.
