Learn how to make this easy DIY Dollar Tree fall decor display in just a few simple steps. It'll look like you spent way more than you did, and it's the perfect accessory for fall decorating. You could use it in a tablescape as a centerpiece, on a coffee table, as part of your fireplace mantel display or as part of a fun vignette. The possibilities are endless!

I love some Dollar Tree decorating, as long as it doesn't look like cheap. There are so many ways to make Dollar Tree items look way more expensive than they are, and I think this is a perfect case-in-point!

The berries are from Dollar Tree!

I am so tickled with how this project turned out, and the best part is it is so easy (and budget-friendly) to do!

STEP 1: GATHER MATERIALS

For this project, you'll need:

  • a vase (I found mine at Bed, Bath, & Beyond for just a few dollars!)
  • berry stems from the dollar store (these are the burgundy and white berries that Dollar Tree offers during Christmas time! They're technically winter berries, but I love using them for fall. They're the perfect moody tones!)
  • other stems if you have them (I used some faux leaves and greens I had taken off an old fall wreath)
  • foam (you can find this at Walmart)

STEP 2: PUT SMALL BLOCK OF FOAM IN POT

STEP 3: ADD DOLLAR TREE BERRIES & OTHER STEMS

To do this, you'll want to make sure you cut the stems down a bit so they're the perfect size for your vase.

Then, start pushing the stem into the foam so it hang out of your vase a bit.

Keep doing this until your vase becomes more full.

Spread them around so that some stand directly up while other hang over the sides a bit.

Eventually, you'll have something that looks like this.

STEP 4: DO THE DETAIL WORK

Anytime you're creating an arrangement, you'll need to do some detail work and rearrange the stems so that you get them just right.
