Make Your Own Peep

It's time for spring and I am super excited to share how to make your own Peep with garden mats! You can see more of my crazy creations here

You can find these mats at Dollar Tree, and I grabbed a few of them.

I drew 1/2 of a bunny Peep shape onto a paper bag. You could use scrap paper or something else if you'd rather.

I folded the paper in 1/2 so that each of the sides of the bunny would be equal. Kind of like when you make paper hearts.

I placed my template onto the garden mat and traced it with a permanent marker onto the mat.

I used an inexpensive serrated knife that I bought from the dollar store just for crafting to cut the bunny shape out of the foam.

I hot glued buttons on for the eyes and nose of the bunny.

I cut a piece of twine and made a knot in it to create a loop. I hot glued this onto the back so that I could hang the Peep.

I made a few more of these and you can see how I made both of those as well as more options on my blog.
