Making an African Snowman

$5
3 Minutes
Easy
We watched Frozen again the other day and I wanted my very own Olaf to celebrate Christmas with us. But we stay in South Africa and it never snows in December. In fact we'll probably be experiencing a heat wave of some sort.
Meet Olaf's African cousin, Thabo 😉
To make him we use three different sized faux topiary balls and a piece of a broken lamp.
Now I have no idea how long it normally takes to build a real snowy snow man, but this little dude took us all of 3 minutes to make. We just slid the biggest faux ball onto the broken lamp and then add the second biggest one. We took two twigs and inserted them on either side to make some arms.
We used hot glue to add some eyes to the smallest topiary and squished on a piece of wood for his nose.
And to keep him safe from the harsh African sun, we added a top hat made from a tin can.
Now Olafs cousin can enjoy the warm weather without melting away.
He'd love you to come say Hi on the blog and see how we made his little top hat.
