Mini Fabric Flowers

Today I'm going to show you how to make these cute fabric flowers. You can use any fabric you like to make them so it's a great project to use up any scrap fabric you have lying around the house.

First, you’ll need to make 4 circles from your fabric. Just trace around something round and cut them out. I just used a jar lid as a guide but anything around 4" will work fine.

Then, you’ll need to make another circle smaller than the first one. I used the bottom of a water bottle as a guide which is about 2".

Now, lay the smaller circle over the large circles and try to center it.

You will then need to thread a needle with some thread and tie a knot at the end.

Sew all the way around the small circle attaching it to the bigger circles. Make sure to leave a small area open to stuff it.

Like this.

Now, fill it with fiber fill.

Then sew it closed.

It should look like this when you are done.

This is what the underside looks like.

Now, cut slits all the way around the edge.

Make sure you don't cut too close to the center.

It should look like this.

Trim around if you need to as well in case it isn't a perfect circle.

Then, throw it in the washing machine to give it a weathered look.

This is a super easy and fun craft and you can get so creative using a varitety of fabrics. The colors and combinations to use are endless! These are perfect for a tiered tray or in a wooden bowl to add a beautiful touch of fall decor to your home.

This is what I did with mine. So cute! Happy Fall!
