No Sew Pumpkins and Boo Stick

6 Materials
Happy Halloween! Here's a couple of no sew pumpkins, that you can wrap up in no time. Since I like getting craft for Halloween, I also stitched up a Boo stick. You could also make a no sew version, using a glue gun. I took a few pictures of the how to for the pumpkin, but unfortunately I didn't take any of the boo stick, but I'm happy to talk you through it.
No sew pumpkins and Boo Stick
I used some fabric I had on hand from remnants I bought at Walmart. I used a platter plate to trace a circle, it is 16" in size, but you can use any size you like.
I used a couple of handfuls of Poly-Fil (polyester filling) I bought at Wal-Mart. I packed it a little and put it in the center of the circle. Please note: the right side of the fabric should be face down.
I gathered up the edges of the fabric and inserted a stick in the center. I tied it with elastic stretch cord securely, to hold it in place.
I tied it with brown ribbon and tucked the stems of two Autumn Leaves on each side.

Boo stick: cut two pieces of fabric 6 and 1/2" by 5 and 1/2 inches. Please note: the 1/2" is for seam allowance. For the word "Boo" I drew them freehand on felt, the B measures 1 and 3/4 inches and the O's measure a little over 1 and a 1/2 inches. I sewed them on to the right side of fabric with a running stitch, next I sewed the two squares together with the right sides on the inside, important : only sew three sides together (the top, the sides and Only half on the bottom. Turn right side out and stuff with poly fil and insert stick. Stitch up the remainder of the bottom. I hope you enjoyed them. Happy Haunting and have safe Halloween!
