Having been inspired to make this simple and economical project, I headed to dollartree and purchased $12 worth of items. I wanted this to light up as well. It is now a gift to my daughter. Want to learn how to make it? Hop on and enjoy the ride. Get inspired, like I did. Watch the entire YouTube video, too.

Use an exact- o knife to score one of the DollarTree plaques below the pumpkin design....

and drill holes if you would like to use lights.

Add a better bonding glue while using hot glue. Later, I used two screws to secure the basket for next season's decoration. I will have a video on this step...

The red basket is from the Dollar Tree. The tail gate will display the picture, and the front section of the truck, the plaque and the design faces inward. Glue, and it will look like this.

Once I felt the truck was well placed together, I started to string the lights.

I used plug in lights. May opt out of this and use battery operated lights. Dollar Tree sells both.

I used tinsel to hide the foam and the lights. I glued on maple leaves around the truck (on the basket) to camouflage the lights. Lastly, I added various florals, and a scarecrow.

Cute

Happy Harvest Centerpiece idea. Make one soon. Seasonal.

Lights on! Sweet!
