This centerpiece was inspired by the succulent stuffed pumpkins I have been seeing all over blogs and Instagram, but I put my own spin on it. I put together this rustic tablescape using items I had on hand as well as fall decor from the Dollar Tree.

I started with several succulent pics from the Dollar Tree.

I also picked up a bag of faux pumpkins and pinecones at the Dollar Tree. I painted the pumpkins and some of the succulents with a metallic copper spray paint to add a touch of glam.

I used a champagne metallic spray paint on the pine cones and also painted a few clothes pins to use to hold the place cards.

Once the painted succulents were dry, I got to work assembling the centerpiece. I found a pumpkin shaped bowl at my local Goodwill and stuffed it with floral foam to hold the succulents. (Note: you could also use a faux pumpkin and stick the pics directly in the top)

I arranged the succulents around the bowl until it was full.

I also used leaves from my yard and painted the edges to add to the rustic centerpiece.

The Metallic pumpkins and pinecones go well with the black and gold pumpkins I already had on hand.

Start with a plaid tablecloth (or scarf in my case), add colorful fiesta ware, and you have a beautiful rustic table scape for abound $10!
