I have always been a sucker for anything Americana or 4th of July themed! There's nothing like the good old red, white & blue!!! Especially when it is on cups, and shirts, and hats, and tablecloths...and...and...and!!!
When it comes to decorating your home for the season, nothing beats shopping your local thrift stores or garage sales to find items to DIY for your home! I hit up a garage sale to find some of the supplies needed for these easy Fourth of July projects!

To find the remaining supplies needed for these projects, I went to Joann Fabrics and Walmart! Here's how I did it!
This first project was inspired by a garage sale find! Nothing says 'America' like Mason jars!  I found these Mason jars at a garage sale last year!    I bought a whole box of jars for $2!!!  Quite a steal!
I simply painted them red, white & blue to resemble the American flag!  I used paint that I found at Walmart! To make the star shape, I cut a sponge in the shape of a star and used it as a stamp on the jar! That way, each of the stars had a uniform look! Easy, but messy, project!
This second project was SOOO easy! I ran to Joann Fabrics to pick up pieces scrapbook paper in red, white, and blue. I chose navy and a muted red to give the project a more rustic feel.
I then traced stars on the paper using a stencil I printed from an image I found online! Then I cut them out and glued them to pieces of string! Quick, simple, and cheap Fourth of July garland!
You can find a video tutorial of these projects on my YouTube channel!

These projects are so easy and quick! They add the perfect touch of Americana to any Fourth of July celebration!

This was a very simple project! So easy and cute! I got the flowers at Michael's on clearance for half price too! Instead of paper stars I used some felt stars I had left over from another project.
