What you’ll need:

Wood

Wooden bunny (from Dollar Store)

Washer

Paint

Moss

Twine

Hot glue gun

Scissors

If you don't have scrap wood lying around, you can buy a fence board at your local hardware store and just trim it down to the right size.

I used a piece of scrap wood and cut off the two corners.

Once you have your wood cut to size, give it a coat of paint. I painted mine grey using Folk Art chalk paint. While it was still wet, I added some white paint to the edges to hilight it a bit.

I painted some white accents all over and blended it in.

While the wood was drying, I prepared the wooden bunny and moss.

I hot glued the moss all over the bunny to cover it.

Once I finished adding the moss, I flipped the bunny over and trimmed any excess moss that was sticking out.

Cleaning it up like this will give it a nice shape.

I didn't add moss to the tail because I chose to add a white pom pom instead.

Next, I took the tag outside and drilled a hole through it that was the same size as the hole in the washer.

You may want to use a couple of sizes to get it perfect and not tear up the wood.

Then I sanded it down.

I glued the washer on with my hot glue gun.

Then I added hot glue to the back of the bunny and stuck it onto the wooden tag.

I added a rope through the washer and it’s ready to hang!

It can also sit on a shelf with other Easter or Spring decor.
