We have our mulch, some plants and some cleaning done already.

Since all of our trees out front were damaged by the Irma Storm, we had to have them taken down...and boy did that leave a mess. You cannot imagine the small pieces of sticks everywhere stuck down into the sod.

Now the border grass has been cut back, the Gardenia at the front porch trimmed and the yard thoroughly raked. All we have to do is straighten up all the scattered stuff, prepare a plan for planting our Caladium (which should ship early April from "Florida Boys Caldaiums") and survive the pollen everywhere!

BTW, I have been delighted to see a lot of bumble bees around this year!!!

Here are some of my current SPRING TREATS!!! We are ready to go get busy out there!!!

HAPPY HOMETALKING TO ALL OF YOU...POST PICTURES!!!

The one big Azelea bushes we have are stunning this year. They were a wreck a few years ago and I wanted to pull them out, but Hubs said, "Let's give it another year to see what happens!"
Now I am so glad I kept the Azeleas! This bouquet is soooo pretty. I do nt arrange them...I just stick them in a vase. That one piece sticking out to the side tickles me!!

My son loves plants as much as I do and he comes home quite frequently with something new. These will join our pink and white ones at our front steps.
THE GRASS IS BEGINNING TO GREAT UP A LITTLE! I do miss my trees, but it seems I will be getting shade from the neighbors! And the old growth across the street shades some in the afternoons!!! We are going to cover the 2 large stumps with soil, landscape cloth and black mulch. Then set some pots of Caladiums on top and around the base...along with some big rocks.
