Summer Sun Wreath

I am so excited to show you guys my new Summer Sun Wreath. I had this wreath in my mind for a long time and it actually turned out cuter than I imagined it would. This wreath is so easy to make and a great way to brighten up your porch and put a smile on your neighbors faces!

I used stiff felt for the majority of this project. The stiff felt is sturdier what I needed for the face of my sun.

Trace and cut out a large circle on the stiff felt. Cut out face pieces with felt and glue to the circle with a hot glue gun.

Glue the face to the wire wreath using hot glue.

Cut strips with the rest of your stiff felt. The length will depend on how long you want your sun rays. Fold the strip in half over the wreath frame and glue in place with your hot glue gun, working from the outside in.

I added a few different colors here and there and glued the strips directly to the face when I got to this part.

Add metallic ribbon or rik rak to your sun for something "extra".

Hang your wreath so the entire neighborhood can enjoy it!
