Summer Tablescape for Two
With the weather being so uncooperative this summer, I was just itching to do something creative so I decided to set my table in my eat-in kitchen for an afternoon brunch for two.
I began the project by shopping my home. I was able to pull this table setting together on a budget because a lot of the pieces are from the Dollar Tree and other discount stores. Yep, that’s right, discount stores.
I had never done a black and white tablescape before. You all know yellow is my signature color. But I think the black and white is very pretty. I also found a way to pop in a little yellow as well. :)
I think the yellow napkins combined with the black and white strip is pretty, and the fruit, and other accessories really set this table for two off with the infusion of color. What do you think?
See the fruit up close and personal. I think some of it is pretty realistic. I used fruit as a centerpiece simply because of the color and for no other reason. :)
