Insert the foot of your wine glass inside these “cozy” little coasters and your furniture will be protected. You also don’t have to worry about tips or losing the coaster when you move it because the coaster is actually attached to the wine glass. Some of us may need that help after a glass or too. 😉

I've made several sets of these wine glass coasters so the step photos have a mix of the fabrics used. I especially like using novelty fabric for holidays and special occasions.

Cut squares from light to medium weight fabric. Leftover squares from quilt projects are ideal. You will need three of one fabric and two of another.

Fold two pairs of squares in half and press. The remaining square is the base.

Weave the four folded squares together and place them on top of the square base.

Sew completely around the edge of the layered square.

Turn the cozy coaster right side out through the opening in the center of the rectangles.

Slip the foot of your wine glass into the center of the cozy.
