There's Still Time to Make Cozy Sock Snowmen for the Winter Season

Sock snowmen are fun and easy to make for decorating during the winter season. These three little guys are actually made from a knee high and a few foam balls! And adding their fun winter clothes and accessories is the best bit.
I used a women's opaque knee high for my snowman project, but you could also use a tall tube sock, or one leg of a little girl's pair of tights. To fill or shape the heads, you can use foam balls or just fill them with fiber fill.
The first step in to tie off the toe area with some thin string or thread. I used fishing line. Then slide your first ball into your sock, or fill with fiber fill.

Once you've created your first snowman's head, tie off your sock and insert your next ball. You can find the full directions on my blog.
Once you've filled your sock with balls to form your snowman heads, you can start to dress them! I used scraps of fabric for scarves, pom poms for ear muffs and some googly eyes to create a cute face.
I've made a few different types of sock snowmen using different materials to dress and accessorize them. You can find directions for all of them on my blog.
Choose your favorite sock snowman project and give them a try!
