As you walk through a thrift store, let your mind wander. I love the art because someone took the time to create it so I love giving it new life that inspires me. So, I found a painting that reminded me of fall and made it new again.
This painting inspired me because of the colors. I also love the branches of the trees.
I placed my stickers on the painting where I wanted them. I loved the phrase Home Heart Home because that is how we want to feel in the fall. Comfy and warm. I painted over the entire painting and then peeled off the letters.
I had this foam pumpkin that I had painted white. Cut it in half so it is easy to hot glue on the painting.
I added it to my dining room because it blended in with my other fall decor in there.
I love how the pumpkin adds a 3D look to the painting. Get creative with the artwork. Add different craft medias. Like I said, let your mind wander and creativity lead you!

  • I like the concept but think the vertical space could be used better. The lettering is all squished into the bottom. It takes away from the creativity, but then again creativity is very personal.

You have opened up the possibilities of so many ideas with this, what a great idea! I think this looks wonderful. I love that you gave it a 3-D pop as well.
