Winter Decorating Ideas

6 Materials
1 Minute

Now that Christmas is over many are transitioning into Winter decorating so their homes wont look so bare after the holidays during the cold months before Spring arrives. I made this snow tree balls for just a few dollars.

This is a simple and easy craft. You can use these balls during and after Christmas during the winter months. All you need are a few supplies that you can find at the dollar tree.

Epsom salt and clear plastic ornament balls are two things you will need.

Mini trees is another thing you will need. You can find them at most craft stores and sometimes even the dollar tree.

I simply removed the cap off the Christmas ball, spooned some epsom salt inside, inserted a mini tree and put the cap back on. These balls came with a ribbon attached and I could hang them from the branches of my tree at Christmas. After Christmas when my tree came down. I just assembled them in a bowl and put them on my coffee table as a winter display.

I found some bigger balls from the dollar tree after Christmas half off and I did the same for these except I added multiple tree and mini pinecones along with the epsom salt. I found the mini pine cones at the dollar tree as well. I assembled them in my wooden dough bowl on a bed of artificial cedar picks.
