Winter Wonderland Tablescape

I absolutely hate the cold winter months, but love doing tablescapes; so to beat the winter blahs, I decided to combine something I love with something I hate to try to make something beautiful. The end results is this Winter Wonderland Tablescape. Perfect for a casual dinner party, or just a fun family meal with the kids.
I chose to use grey, charcoal, and whites for a cohesive wintery colour scheme.
This is the complete table. I shopped my house for all the items, which meant I spent $0.00. Yay! Although I did have to hunt down where I stored some of my Christmas decor.
The furry tablerunner was made from leftover fabric from a previous pillow project. At first, I thought a furry tablerunner would be too strange, but then went for it anyway. And I LOVE how it turned out. It's uniqueness makes this tablescape one of my favourites.
One quick easy way to add ceramic decor is by buying them from thrift stores or dollar stores, and spray painting them. I did the ones on this table last summer, since I knew I wanted to use lots of whites in my Christmas decorating. I lucked out, since they also work perfectly with this winter tablescape.
I always try to make my tablescapes a 360 degree experience, so that everyone has something interesting to look at, no matter where they are sitting at the table.
The snowy owl is the centre piece of this tablescape, and I think he's perfect for this theme. I purchased him at a thrift store for $3.99. The twisty branches where cut from a tree in my backyard. I love the organic and natural feel they "bring to the table". Bahahaha. Who doesn't like a good pun?
One of the things I really enjoy about this tablescape is that it could easily be used as a Christmas table as well.

Happy Winter All!!!
