Try this easy wreath DIY to decorate your front door for Thanksgiving!
Welcome your Thanksgiving guests with a festive, harvest themed wreath. This autumn feather wreath DIY is simple to create but really makes a statement at the front door. The wreath is pretty and elegant, and who doesn’t love feathers?
Steps to Make the Wreath:

1. Spray paint the styrofoam wreath form with two coats. Allow to dry in-between each coat.

2. Heat glue gun and glue long pheasant feathers around wreath form. Let the top feathers crisscross.
3. Glue and layer turkey, peacock, and pheasant feathers in spray on left and right sides at the center bottom of wreath. Leave space in center for bow. Try to make the feather spray on each side feel balanced if not symmetrical.

4. Tie bow. Secure bow to wreath with floral wire.

5. Hang on front door and voila – a beautiful, festive greeting for guests!
I love to decorate for Thanksgiving with pheasant feathers. They are so indicative of the harvest and hunting season. Adding just a touch of green with the peacock feathers makes this wreath really pop. Be sure to choose a ribbon that harmonizes well with the feather colors.

This wreath is simple to make, light weight, and easy to store for next year.
