Canning Ring Wreath

I found a box of canning rings that were too rusty to use for canning, but I loved the rust and patina on them. I decided to turn them into a cute fall wreath for above my fire place. I used Dollar Tree supplies, so this wreath only cost me $3!

I used a 10 inch wreath form and used just under 60 canning rings. I liked the look of the rusted rings, but you can use new ones too. I used small mouth rings. This canning ring wreath would be cute with painted rings or even cover them coordinating colors of washi tape for a colorful wreath.

Supplies

You'll need:

  • 10 inch wreath form
  • ribbon
  • flowers
  • tape
  • 60 canning rings
Cut the wreath form

I cut the wreath form with a knife. Then I added the canning rings. Make sure they are all facing the same way.

Tape

Once you've added your rings, tape the wreath back together.

Add flowers

I just pulled the flowers off of the stem and poked them into the foam. I glued the greenery to the flowers. This way I can change the flowers with the season if I want to.

Hang it

I love it! You can get creative and add a bow or put the flowers or bow on the side. I got my flowers from Dollar Tree, so I can change them without spending a lot of money.
