Wreaths are definitely one of my favorite DIY/ craft projects to make, especially at Christmastime. I have always wanted to make one of those giant Christmas ball wreaths. You know one of those beautiful ball wreaths you see in magazines or on Pinterest.
I finally gave in and tried to make a Christmas ball wreath this year using plastic gold Christmas balls from the Dollar store for less than $20.
I chose a straw wreath form because it is prettier and more finished looking than a Styrofoam one for any spots of the wreath form that might show.  I wrapped green floral wire around a straw wreath form to give the wreath a wire to hang from.
I broke a paper clip in half and put it through a Christmas ball and pushed it into the straw wreath one Christmas ball at a time until the wreath was filled.
I used my glue gun to glue on smaller ornaments into the gaps so none of the straw was showing.
Once I was finished I hung our Christmas ball wreath in my dining room. To see more step by step photos and instructions of how I made my Christmas ball wreath please stop by my blog link below.
