Christmas Holiday Book Page Wreath

What can you make with a wreath form, an old book, some berries and glue? Let me show you today with this fun project, a Christmas book page wreath to add to your holiday decor this season.
You know I love a bargain, and this holiday wreath was no exception. The cost?? FREE! Yep, all the supplies came from my craft closet. Even if you don’t have the supplies on hand, a quick trip to the dollar store and you can still make this project for just a few dollars.

Materials needed for this wreath:

Book

Small piece of ribbon

Scissors

Green Paint

Paper plate

Large piece of cardboard

Berry Floral Stems

Hot glue/glue gun

Wreath form

Large highlighter

Start out by tearing your book pages from your book. I used 55 book pages for this wreath, so that’s a good number to start with for a 9 inch wreath form.
Once the pages are torn and formed into shape, dip the edges into paint, wait to dry, then start hot gluing them to the wreath form. Two layers of book pages is all you need.
Use the scissors to cut the berry floral stems into small pieces, then hot glue them to the wreath. Place them between the book pages spaced evenly around the wreath to create a balanced look.
Be sure to visit Sparkles of Sunshine to learn the EASY way to crumble the book pages and how to make this wreath without one drop of hot glue getting on your fingers!

Like Diane, I need to see how you folded the pages please. I’ve tried a zillion times - I ended up with the ugliest pages possible. Do they have to be a square, or does the rectangle shaped pages right out of the book work?

If you ran a fat green marker around the books' 3 exposed edges before you tore the pages out, you would save a lot of time.

I adore this wreath and it's possibilities (old cookbook pages with red cookie cutters picked in).
