The options to customize this wooden monogram wreath are endless. Dress it up for fall, Christmas, and even Easter with just a few simple changes each season. It is the perfect focal point above a mantle, in an entry way, on the front door, or over a dining room sideboard. This DIY is super easy and requires very few materials.

For autumn, I made this pretty monogram the focal point for my blue and white fall mantle! I shopped my house, rounding up my blue and white china, then adding a few classic fall elements with the mini pumpkins, fall foliage, and willow balls to create this look. The monogram “M” sign/wreath was a gift from last Christmas that had been sitting in a closet waiting for the right inspiration!
Step One: Paint wooden monogram. After it drys thread your ribbon through the pre-cut holes. Tie it off in the back.  Attach a piece of dry floral foam with wire to top of monogram.
Step Two: Cut leafy branches into 4 pieces 2 long and 2 short. Stick stems into foam. Stick remaining 2 stems in other side, varying placement.
Step Three: Pop off leaves from main flower stems, and layer in with first set of leafy branches.
Step Four: Tie basic multi-loop bow.  Add bow to center.
Step Five: Cut main flower stems to about 2 – 3 inches long. Nestle two main flowers in center amongst bow loops with one flower towards bottom and one near top.

Step Six: Cut stems apart on secondary, smaller flowers: 2 long and 2 short.  Use these to fill in holes and create contrast and texture between bow and main flowers.

I am tired of wreaths, but yours is far from being boring! I love it! And those colors together : blue and orange... A big win! Really inspiring!

Thanks so much! It is important to switch it up every now and again and try something different with a wreath!
