The beauty in this project is that it only requires a couple of supplies, and is very simple to make. You can also customize it to your heart’s desire, like choosing your own color palette and adding in fun Fall elements like pinecones and pampas grass. This wreath has so many beautiful textures with the velvet, raw wood, and pampas grass and I love how all of those elements play so well together.

For your convenience, I created a step-by-step video so you can see how I put the wreath together. Then continue below to follow the step-by-step images to make your own DIY Boho-Chic Pumpkin Wreath.

Enjoy this video then follow along for the step-by-step tutorial to make your own whimsical pumpkin wreath!

To make your own whimsical boho-inspired wreath, you will need:

-Wooden Ball Wreath Frame. I found mine at Hobby Lobby, but you can also create your own wreath frame with wooden ball beads like THESE (use code "COUNTRYPEONY" and you can received 5% off the beads, and any product from Woodpeckers Crafts at checkout) and a thick wire.

-Velvet Pumpkins

-Fun Fall elements like Pampas Grass and Pinecones

-Clear Zip Ties

-Velvet Ribbon

-Hot Glue Gun with Hot Glue

-Scissors

Bend the pampas grass bunch to match the circular movement of the wreath.

Attach the pampas grass bunch to the grapevine wreath with a zip tie, and trim the zip tie.

Overlap another pampas grass on top of the first one. Then, repeat on the other side at the bottom.

Hot glue and attach a ribbon to the base of the wreath to cover up the pampas grass stems.

*The ribbon will also act as a sturdier and thicker base for the pumpkins to adhere to.

One at a time, attach the pumpkins to the wreath and ribbon with hot glue.

Have fun with the placement of the pumpkins. Don’t overthink it!

For added stability, hot glue the pumpkins to each other.

For a more whimsical look, add in unique Fall items like pinecones.

Finish off the wreath by adding a ribbon to the top with a knot to act as a wreath hanger.

Enjoy your custom boho-chic wreath!

I had so much fun making this wreath, and I hope you do to!
