Bring Lavender’s calming influence to your home with a DIY Lavender Wreath

Have you ever dreamed of walking through a field of lavender? I came close this spring as I walked near a garden of lavender when I visited Portland.

DIY Lavender Wreath

Supplies

  • Grapevine wreath
  • Lavender garland
  • Lavender stems
  • Zip ties
  • Hot glue

Step one: Attach the thicker lavender garland to the grapevine wreath vase using green zip ties. Tighten the zip ties and then snip off the end.

Step two: Use hot glue to add the lavender stems to the wreath. Trim the lavender stems to remove almost all of the stem, leaving just enough to hot glue and attach to the wreath. You mainly want the flowers on these to help cover the lavender garland.

A beautiful faux lavender wreath that will last for years! Place it on your front porch, in your bathroom, or anywhere else around your home. It's sure to make your environment feel more relaxing! You can even add some lavender essential oils to the wreath to create the lavender scent.
