How to make a simple farmhouse inspired Valentine's Day wreath. I used Dollar Tree supplies, so this is an inexpensive holiday decoration.

This Valentine's Day wreath can be used inside or on a front door. I hung it over my fireplace since I live far from the road. I'd rather enjoy it myself since no one will see it.

You will need:

  • Heart shaped wreath form (I picked it up at Dollar Tree, but Amazon also has them)
  • Silk flowers- I used off white roses from Dollar Tree
  • Nautical rope - I got it from Dollar Tree, but there's some listed on Etsy.
  • Glue gun

Start by wrapping the nautical rope around the wreath frame. Use a dab of hot glue to hold the ends in place. You can also add glue throughout the frame if you need to.

Then remove the flowers from the stems. Mine popped off, but you might need wire cutters. Then use hot glue to add them to the frame. I glued them right to the wire. You can also wrap with deco mesh and glue the flowers to that.

I love it! It's a simple Valentine's Day wreath, but it's pretty. Since I used both flowers and rope, I didn't have to worry about the awkward top and bottom and trying to wrap them.
