Farmhouse Heart Wreath

I created this with the intention of putting it out for Valentine’s Day, but it’s so pretty and neutral I think this will be perfect for displaying all spring long! All the material minus the beads and the scrapbook paper which I had on hand, were picked up at Dollar Tree which made this a super affordable DIY!

Grab this heart sign from Dollar Tree and your favorite piece of scrapbook paper. Remove the twine and set it aside—you’ll still need it! You are going to cut around the edges with a blade.

Apply a thin layer of Mod Podge on your heart and glue down your scrapbook paper.

Grab some burlap ribbon—Dollar Tree also has this now! Use a glue gun to adhere it to the front. Flip it over, wrap the ribbon, and glue down the edges on the back.

I also found these 3 packs of metal words at Dollar Tree. I chose the “welcome” word and glued it right on top of the burlap ribbon.

To finish off the front I trimmed off a piece of greenery, applied some hot glue, and stuck it underneath the burlap.

Flip over your sign and poke through the holes. Chopsticks work great for this!

Using the twine that you set aside, add a couple wooden beads before re-tying it. This is an optional step, but I really think the beads add to the farmhouse feel!

What do you think??!

This is so cute for either inside or outside! I decided to hang mine on our front gate.
