This is my first Christmas in my home. The kids brought up the decorations from the basement and I've spent the last two days trying to figure out how to display them in this new setting. My entry got most of my attention today, and I'm pretty happy with the results.
This is my entry. It's a blank canvas. I like that it is small so that I don't need to do much to make a visual impact.
I begin with some basic pieces that I already had...a chair, lantern, milk can, and a set of lighted presents that I got at a thrift shop.
Next, I added greens, a wreath, an old crate and pinecones. I also picked up a cute Santa mat on sale.
I placed lights over everything and set it on a timer. The entry is now ready for the holiday season. I just wish the rest of my house was!
Enjoyed the project?

Excellent! It is a nice way to decorate your porch with gifts. It will be loved by children and they will thoroughly enjoy it. Thanks for sharing.
