Loopy Yarn Valentine Wreath

Finger loop yarn is so popular right now. I found some pretty pale pink finger loop yarn and knew it would make the prettiest and squishiest loopy yarn valentine wreath.

You can have this done in one episode of a sitcom.

You'll need a styrofoam heart wreath and 2 skeins of finger loop yarn. If you're making more than one wreath, then you'll need 3 skeins of yarn per 2 wreaths.

Start on the side of the wreath form, tie a knot around the wreath form with the yarn, and just start looping it around and around. I find that looping several rounds and then pushing them together for fullness worked bet.

When you run out of the first skein, just tie the next skein hidden under a loop or two of the yarn on the wreath. Then, keep going.

I found this box of cute little conversation heart style felt ornaments at the craft store. When I finished looping the yarn, I added this to the very center of my heart wreath.

Come see the finished version on the blog!

This is the completed look. I tied a ribbon to a yarn loop on each "hump" of the heart to hang it.
