Have you wanted to find a magnolia wreath for your front door? I have the perfect idea for a statement magnolia wreath for you!

Have you ever been to Savannah, Georgia? If not, you should go! I went with my sisters recently and I can’t wait to go back!

I could walk down every street downtown and I want to knock on every door and go inside each old house, but apparently, that isn’t polite. I was so inspired to create a beautiful front door/ porch experience at my own house because of this inspiring front door picture!

We had so much fun even though it was colder than normal. We also watched the new Redeeeming Love movie at the theater. I cried and loved every second of it!

Anyway, I was inspired by the wreaths on this door because of the beautiful color combination including the blue and white tiles.

So when I got home I went straight to Hobby Lobby and bought a magnolia wreath half off to try to recreate this one. By the way, I looked online and couldn’t find a fuschia wreath but I did find this Magnolia Wreath at Pottery Barn. I love it but a little out of my price range and not fuschia.

How to spray paint your Magnolia wreath

  1. Separate Leaves
  2. Separate your magnolia wreath leaves. The Hobby Lobby Magnolia Wreath has leaves in sets of three.

Spray Each Leaf

Hold spray paint can about 6 inches away from each leaf and spray in short bursts over each magnolia wreath leaf individually.

Spray Each Leaf Set and Wreath Underneath

Go around the entire wreath spraying each leaf and leaf set and the grapevine wreath underneath until it is fully covered.

Spray Any Green Showing

Walk around and look at the wreath from each side and spray any green showing through.

Repeat Step 4

Do this multiple times until all the green is hidden by the fuschia.

Voila!

Hang this beauty proudly on your front door or even inside!

I love how this wreath turned out! I spent $31 and I think it looks like a million bucks!

I am planning on repainting my front door as soon as the weather permits. Right now we have 20 inches of snow!

Taking votes on which color! Until then I’m hanging it in my kitchen!

Let me know if you try it and what color you choose in the comments.

Yes I will try, I will paint it gold. I wonder if you could use real leaves from your tree?

We use magnolia leaves for holiday decorating and real is better. The leaves are handsome enough, the way nature made them, that painting isn't necessary.

The magenta seems garish to me.
