I didn't want to do the traditional wreath for my fall door this year. I saw lots of ideas online & here. But nothing really thrilled me or got my creativity going. So while I was wandering around my local Goodwill yesterday, an idea hit me. I saw a plain tan tote bag. I already had almost all the other supplies at home. Right near the bag , on a shelf was the package of fall colored raffia & an idea was hatched!
Here is the fall colored raffia, all unwound & fluffed. I've never been a fan of this stuff, but it was perfect for this project.
One perfect color coordinated gerber daisy, some burlap, a raven cutout, leaf cutouts, glue.
My fall leaf ribbon & a better view of the raven.
The tote bag & some battery operated white lights. Those will go inside the bag. That's step one. Then I stuffed it with the raffia.
Here you see how I stuffed it, added burlap & ribbon to the top edge, gluing it all down.
I glued all my other elements in place. I had to place a weighted object on top of the flower to get it to stay glued overnight. I'm sure we all know how tough it can be to glue unflat objects to flat surfaces!
Now here is a photo of it all lit up? Isn't it cute?

As an aside- I had so much trouble with that bow. I went through at least 4 different tutorials here & finally gave up! I just can't tie a decent bow to save my life! All the tutorials I found were for the big wired ribbon! Oh well!
