If you’re looking for non traditional wreath ideas I have a perfect project for you! I created these Thanksgiving Tags for our front door to decorate for the Thanksgiving/fall season. These are made out of wood and hung with a couple pieces of jute.

These were made on the backside of these Oversized Wood Christmas Tags. Come check these out and see how you can double up on holiday decor to save time, space and money.

These Thanksgiving Tags involves two pieces of 1 x 8 wood boards with two angled cuts at the top as well as a hole drilled for the jute. I spray painted the wood pieces with a flat white spray paint.

Next I created a "give thanks" stencil and painted it with black latex paint. If you don't own a cutting machine, no problem this large graphic is

Once the paint dried I removed the stencil.

You can definitely leave as is and they look amazing, but I couldn't leave well enough alone and I sanded and stained them.

I am excited to hang these on my front door. If your looking for other fall decor come check out this easy Fall Banner Made From Book Pages project. I hope you have a Happy Fall and Thanksgiving! Tiffany
