Pampas Grass Wreath
We've got so much of this pampas grass growing in the ditches by our house, so I'm trying to think of ways to use it! The Christmas décor has been cleaned up and it's not quite time to replace it all with the spring décor yet (unfortunately). Some simple grass and greens seemed like a good in-between option to use in the meantime!
Supplies & tools for this project:
- Twig or wood wreath
- Pampas grass clippings
- Fake greenery of choice (optional)
- Crafting/floral wire
- Wire clippers
.
Clip the pampas grass pieces with a few inches of stem on the bottom. Bundle a few together and twist with the floral wire.
.
Attach the grass bundles to the wreath by intertwining into the twigs or by using more wire. Work clockwise to cover up the stems of each bundle.
.
Add extra greenery if you'd like, or leave it as is.
.
I had hung this wreath above our stove, but the "fluff" from the grass was floating down everywhere! It is now on our front door and is the perfect winter/fall or in-between seasons décor item.

I spray hairspray on the wreath to stop most of the "fluffing".
