How do I hang an oversized heavy wreath on a glass storm door?

The door won’t close with the wreath hanger. I’ve tried the magnet from Hobby Lobby, the Wreath Suction Cup from Home Depot and it won’t hold it up.

I hang a Command Hook on the inside of my door, upside down. Then run a ribbon through the wreath, over the door, under the hook.

Have you tried a large outdoor Command Hook? I would use 2 of them next to one another for extra support.

I've had great success with GekcoTech hangers. They're much better than the standard suction cup hangers.

    Try this

    Hang with Ribbon

Suspend your holiday wreath from the top of the door frame and avoid making unsightly holes. Cut a 3-inch-wide satin or grosgrain ribbon long enough, when doubled, to hang your wreath at the desired height. Loop ribbon around the back of the wreath form. Join the ends, and fold them over 1/2 inch

I have put a piece of twine or ribbon attached to the very top of the door ( top- width) with a sturdy thumbtack and hang the wreath from that.

I agree I’ve had things fall down with command adhesive hooks and over the door hangers scratch and mar doors finish.

Is your entire door glass or is there just a glass insert?
